Questions About Your Visit

Find clarity and comfort with answers to our most frequent inquiries about acupuncture and wellness care.

Should I eat or drink before my session?

It is best to eat a little something before your session. Sometimes, coming in on an empty stomach or on a caffeine kick can make acupuncture a little bit uncomfortable. It is best to eat a light snack and avoid caffeine 1-2 hours prior to your session.

How does acupuncture help with body aches?

Think of it as a way to help your body heal itself. It eases tension, calms your system, and brings life back to tired areas so you can move through your day with much more ease and comfort.

Can it help me as I try to conceive?

Absolutely. We focus on calming your mind and supporting your body's natural rhythms. By reducing stress and nurturing your well-being, we help create a gentle space for your family goals.

Does it hurt and is the treatment safe?

You are in safe hands here. Our tiny needles are as thin as a strand of hair. Most people feel a sense of deep peace and relaxation. Some may only notice a soft, quick tap as they begin to drift into rest.

Do you accept insurance?

We accept HSA and FSA cards and can provide Superbills for you to submit to your insurance. Just let us know what you need, and we will do our best to find a clear and easy way for you to receive the care you need.

Where can I park or find the bus?

There is free street parking on Chicago Ave and side streets nearby. If you take the bus, CTA Line 66 stops at Rockwell and Washtenaw, both of which are just a quick, easy walk to our door.
